MigrantMotherofDepressionin1936The current recession is an international dilemma. With plans to bailout auto-makers, banks, and mortgage agencies now totaling over $800 billion, one must ask where’s the stimulus part? Will this recession turn into a depression? Economists and statisticians claim the economy is recovering yet the dollar’s value continues to drop, stocks are at a 12-year low, and unemployment rates rise daily. If the new Health Care Reform is implemented, many small businesses who can’t afford to offer their employees health coverage will be forced to close or face steep federal fines.  Once the massive layoffs, excessive debt write-offs, and business closings hit bottom the economy will still need recovery time.
